R.E.M.: „Unplugged“-4-LP-Set zum Record Store Day

Anlässlich des Record Store Day am 19. April 2014 veröffentlichen R.E.M. erstmals ihre gesamten zwei MTV-Unplugged-Konzerte von 1991 und 2001 als 4-LP-Set.

„Unplugged: The Complete 1991 and 2001 Sessions“ ist der Titel der Veröffentlichung. Den ersten Unplugged-Gig bestritt die Band rund um Sänger Michael Stipe 1991 nach Erscheinen ihres Albums „Out Of Time“. Bislang unveröffentlicht von diesem Auftritt sind unter anderem „Fretless“, „Rotary 11“, „World Leader Pretend“ und „Get Up“.

Die CD-Version sowie digitale Downloads der „Unplugged“-Sessions werden am 20. Mai veröffentlicht.
