Golden Globe Awards 2018: „Aus dem Nichts“ von Fatih Akin nominiert

Das Drama „Aus dem Nichts“ von Regisseur Fatih Akin wurde am Montag (11. Dezember) für die renommierten „Golden Globes“ 2018 nominiert. Damit tritt wieder ein deutscher Film in der Kategorie „Bester nicht-englischsprachiger Film“ an. Die Konkurrenz: „First They Killed My Father“ (Kambodscha), „Fantastic Woman“ (Chile), „Loveless“ (Russland) und „The Square“ (Schweden).

Außerdem ist Hans Zimmer mit seiner Filmmusik für „Dunkirk“ nominiert. Er gewann in der Vergangenheit bereits zwei der Preise. Der letzte deutsch produzierte Film, der den Golden Globe gewann, war „Das weiße Band“ von Michael Haneke im Jahre 2010. „Toni Erdmann“ ging im vergangenen Jahr leer aus.

„The Shape of Water“ hat mit sieben Nominierungen die besten Chancen auf einen oder mehrere Goldtrophäen. Je sechs Nominierungen holten „Three Billboards Outside Ebbing“, Missouri“ und „The Post“. In den Fernsehkategorien ist die HBO-Mini-Serie „Big Little Lies“ gleich sechs mal nominiert und haushoher Favorit.

Die Golden Globes gelten als die wichtigsten amerikanischen Filmpreise nach den Oscars und den Emmys. Die Verleihung findet am 07. Januar 2018 in Beverly Hills statt. Der US-Komiker und Talkshow-Moderator Seth Meyers wird die Gala zum ersten Mal moderieren.

Fatih Akin könnte auch für den Oscar ins Rennen gehen

Im vergangenen Jahre wurden Casey Affleck („Manchester by the Sea“) und Isabelle Huppert („Elle“) als beste Hauptdarsteller ausgezeichnet. Bestes Filmdrama war „Moonlight“, die beste Komödie/Musical „La La Land“. Gewinner des Golden Globes gelten als heiße Anwärter für die Oscar-Verleihung im März 2018.
