Geheimnis um Depeche Mode gelüftet: Band veröffentlicht umfangreiche „Video Singles Collection“

Tagelang hatten Fans sich den Kopf zerbrochen, mit welchen rätselhaften Bildern Depeche Mode ein bevorstehendes Ereignis ankündigten: Wird der Titel des kommenden Albums bekannt gegeben? Ein Tour? Oder kehrt etwa Alan Wilder zurück?

Nun hat die Band das Geheimnis gelüftet: Depeche Mode bringen die Clip-Sammlung: „Video Singles Collection“ in die Läden, erhältlich ab dem 11. November. Drei DVDs mit Musikvideos zwischen 1981 bis 2013. Insgesamt 55, dazu der bislang unveröffentlichte „Alternate Cut“ von „Stripped“. Zu den für das Trio arbeitenden Regisseuren gehörten u.a. John Hillcoat, Julien Temple und, natürlich, Anton Corbijn.

Wer von den Clips an sich schon genug hat, darf sich allerdings über Audiokommentare freuen – sowohl Dave Gahan, als auch Martin Gore und Andy Fletcher besprechen die Filmchen.
