‚Fight Club 2‘ kommt … als Graphic Novel

Bestseller-Autor Chuck Palahniuk hat die Fortsetzung seines bekanntesten Buchs angekündigt: Im Mai 2015 soll „Fight Club 2“ erscheinen – jedoch nicht als Roman, sondern als Graphic Novel für den Verlag „Dark Horse Comics“. Der Kinofilm von 1998 machte Palahniuk schlagartig berühmt; das Werk gilt bis heute auch als Höhepunkt in den Karrieren von Regisseur David Fincher sowie Hauptdarsteller Brad Pitt.
Das Comic-Sequel soll zehnteilig ausfallen, die Zeichnungen fertigt Cameron Stewart an. Die Galerie zeigt ein erstes Promo-Bild zu „Fight Club 2“.

„Fight Club 2 takes place alternately in the future and the past. It picks up a decade after the ending of his original book, where the protagonist is married to equally problematic Marla Singer and has a 9 year-old son named Junior, though the narrator is failing his son in the same way his dad failed him.“
Also: keine heile Ehewelt beim „Erzähler“. Im Gespräch mit „USA Today“ kündigte Chuck Palahniuk an, dass auch dieser gewisse Herr aus dem Unterbewusstsein wieder mit von der Partie sein wird: „Tyler Durden is something that maybe has been around for centuries and is not just this aberration that’s popped into his mind.“
