Oscars 2016: Morricone, Sam Smith, Leonardo Di Caprio, Jennifer Lawrence nominiert – und Rocky!
Am Donnerstag wurden die Nominierungen für die Oscars 2016 bekannt gegeben. „The Revenant – Der Rückkehrer“ geht mit zwölf Nominierungen als Favorit ins Rennen, darunter für den „Besten Film“, die „Beste Regie“ (Alejandro González Iñárritu) sowie für Hauptdarsteller (Leonardo DiCaprio) und Nebendarsteller (Tom Hardy).
Iñárritu könnte damit, nach „Birdman“ aus dem letzten Jahr, zum nächsten Schlag ausholen: Auch 2015 gewann er die Trophäe für den „Besten Film“ und die „Beste Regie“. DiCaprio wiederum hatte nie größere Chancen auf den Hauptdarsteller-Oscar als jetzt.
Mit Lady Gaga, Sam Smith und The Weeknd (siehe unten) sind zudem so viele Popstars wie selten für einen „Besten Song“ nominiert.
Auch ein Österreicher kann sich Hoffnungen auf eine Auszeichnungen machen: Patrick Vollrath ist mit seinem Film „Alles wird gut“ in der Kategorie „Bester Kurzfilm, Live-Action“ nominiert. Die Verleihung findet am 28. Februar in Los Angeles statt.
